Carousel Horse

Let some FUN in!

Brand new from Sarah Rose/Rose Studios is this fantastic carousel horse. Sculpted in the late 90's when Sarah was casting all her work in bronze and had not yet been re-introduced to the hobby (Thanks Lynn!), this little horse is full of fire! He is small Classic scale and is shown next to a Rasam resin that was sculpted to be true Classic scale. He isn't as anatomically detailed or precise as Sarah's model horses, but she elected not to re-sculpt him in the interest of preserving the creativity and pizazz he already had. His lower price reflects that. He will be open for ordering for a full year, making a great birthday gift for horsey and non-horsey friends alike!

Additional info:

Cast in white urethane resin with steel reinforced legs, he has the base cast on (no worries of him coming off his base!). He is poured through a vent in his tail, so there is no big sprue gate on the base or belly, and the bottom of the base is hollowed and sits perfectly flat. What this means is less prepping time for the artist!

Why did Sarah decide to cast a carousel horse? Because they are FUN, and in the current economic situation we could all use a bit more of that. He isn't a 'serious' model horse with a show career ahead of him, he is meant to lighten your heart and bring a smile to your face.
